Friday the 13th ‘Crystal Lake’ Series Reveals New Cast Members
quel series Crystal Lake just got a lot more interesting with the addition of three new actors to its main cast.
Devin Kessler, Cameron Scoggins, and Gwendolyn Sundstrom are the latest stars to join the show, which already features Linda Cardellini as Pamela Voorhees and William Catlett as Levon Brooks.
Fans can look forward to Kessler playing Briana Brooks, Scoggins as Dorf, and Sundstrom as Grace. Unfortunately, further details about their characters are being kept under wraps.
The Crystal Lake series will take viewers back to the events leading up to Jason Voorhees becoming the iconic hockey-masked slasher from the Friday the 13th movies. The series is being produced by A24 and showrunner Brad Caleb Kane, known for his work on “Tokyo Vice” and “Black Sails”.
Linda Cardellini steps into the role of Pamela Voorhees, Jason’s troubled and vengeful mother, originally portrayed by Betsy Palmer in the 1980 film.
The show boasts an impressive executive producer lineup including Brad Caleb Kane, Marc Toberoff, Victor Miller, Robert M. Barsamian, Robert P. Barsamian, and Stuart Manashil.
Directing the series are a talented group of filmmakers, with Michael Lennox taking the helm for episodes 101–103, Celine Held and Logan George for episodes 104–106, and Quyen Tran for episodes 107–108. Lennox also serves as an executive producer on the show.
Crystal Lake will be available for streaming exclusively on Peacock, although an official release date has not been announced yet. Fans of the franchise can anticipate a thrilling and in-depth look at the origins of one of horror’s most enduring villains.
