Crystal Lake Horror Series Cast Revealed for Peacock
Peacock is giving fans a treat this Friday the 13th by revealing the remaining main cast members for their upcoming “expanded prequel” series, Crystal Lake. Headlining the show is Linda Cardellini from Freaks and Geeks, who is set to portray Pamela Voorhees, the original killer from Friday the 13th.
Joining Cardellini are William Catlett, Devin Kessler, Cameron Scoggins, and newcomer Gwendolyn Sundstrom. While we don’t know much about their characters yet, the series is expected to delve into the dark origins of the iconic Friday the 13th franchise.
Behind the scenes, showrunner Brad Caleb Kane and original Friday the 13th writer Victor Miller are teaming up with A24 to bring Crystal Lake to life. The first eight episodes will be directed by Michael Lennox, Celine Held & Logan George, and Quyen Tran.
As for a premiere date, Crystal Lake is part of Peacock’s lineup for the 2025-2026 season, so fans can expect more updates soon on when to catch the Voorhees family in action. Stay tuned for more updates on this exciting prequel series!
