HBO Max to Launch in 12 New Markets in July
HBO Max is expanding its reach across the globe, with exciting news for streaming fans in Albania, Armenia, Cyprus, Estonia, Georgia, Iceland, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Latvia, Lithuania, Malta, and Tajikistan. Warner Bros. Discovery has revealed that these countries will have access to HBO Max starting this July. Plus, Germany, Italy, and the U.K. are expected to join the lineup in early 2026.
Along with popular movies and TV series from HBO, Warner Bros. Pictures, DC Studios, Max Originals, and more, select countries will also have access to sports content on HBO Max. This includes major events like tennis Grand Slams (Australian Open, Roland-Garros, Wimbledon, and US Open), cycling’s Grand Tours (Giro d’Italia, Tour de France), and major winter sports events. The rights to this sports content will vary depending on the country.
