2025 ASTRA TV Awards Winners: Best Comedy and Drama Series

The stars were shining on the evening of June 10th at the SLS Hotel in Beverly Hills, where the winners of the 2025 Astra TV Awards were honored by the Hollywood Creative Alliance. A select committee of 35 entertainment industry experts determined this year’s winners, with Apple TV+ coming out on top.

Apple TV+’s The Studio, a hilarious satire on Hollywood’s inner workings, snagged an impressive 4 wins, including Best Comedy Series, Best Actor in a Comedy Series for Seth Rogen, and Best Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series for Catherine O’Hara. Plus, the talented duo of Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg took home the Best Directing in a Comedy Series award. Apple TV+’s Severance also shined bright, winning for Best Drama Series.

But it wasn’t just Apple TV+ that stole the spotlight. Netflix’s Adolescence was named Best Limited Series, and Rebel Ridge won Best Television Movie. Other notable winners included Noah Wyle for Best Actor in a Drama Series, Colin Farrell for Best Actor in a Limited Series or TV Movie, and Natasha Lyonne for Best Actress in a Comedy Series.

In addition to individual awards, the Comedy and Drama Ensemble categories recognized the best in the genre across different platforms. CBS’ Ghosts, HBO’s The White Lotus, and HBO/MAX’s The Pitt were among the standout winners in this category.

The evening also saw Olivia Munn receiving the Trailblazer Award, along with special Honorary Awards presented to David Alan Grier, Melissa Rauch, Jennifer Morrison, Saagar Shaikh, and Courtney Eaton.
