Angela Jain, known for her role as ITV Studios director of UK unscripted, is stepping into the spotlight as Disney+’s head of content for EMEA. Starting in September, Jain will be overseeing all aspects of original productions, from commissioning to production management, and business affairs to branded acquisitions.

With a solid background in the industry, including overseeing 11 local labels at ITVS and greenlighting popular series like Love Island and The Inbetweeners, Jain is well-equipped to take on this new challenge. Key Disney+ originals from the UK, such as Rivals and A Thousand Blows, have already set the bar high for the streaming service.
