Season 3 Renewal for Steamy Drama with Bittersweet Twist

Great news for fans of the hit German series “Maxton Hall – The World Between Us”—Prime Video has officially renewed it for a third season! And get this, they made the announcement even before season two has premiered.

The news broke on Monday with a fun video shared on social media featuring stars Harriet Herbig-Matten and Damian Hardung. In the clip, they pretend to be on a FaceTime call, showing off the script for season three, episode one. Fans went wild when they learned that season three is happening, but there’s a catch—it will be the show’s final season.

Based on the bestselling Save Me trilogy by Mona Kasten, season three will continue Ruby and James’s intense, slow-burn romance from the final book, Save Us. In case you’re not caught up, the show follows Ruby, a scholarship student at the elite Maxton Hall, who gets tangled up with James Beaufort, the school’s brooding golden boy, after uncovering a secret.

The series originally premiered on May 9, 2024, and quickly became Prime Video’s top non-American original, holding the #1 spot in over 120 countries. Season two is set to premiere on November 7, so with season three on the horizon, it looks like we’ve got our next binge-watching obsession lined up.
