Warner Bros. Discovery and French Tennis Federation Extend Partnership
Warner Bros. Discovery and the French Tennis Federation have just announced that they are extending their agreement to continue broadcasting Roland-Garros in Europe until 2030. This means fans across Europe (excluding France) can enjoy watching the tournament on Warner Bros. Discovery channels and platforms for at least another decade.
The new deal represents over 40 years of partnership between Warner Bros. Discovery and the French Tennis Federation. It was officially signed by French Tennis Federation President Gilles Moretton and President & Managing Director of WBD Sports Europe, Andrew Georgiou. This exciting news comes just in time for the men’s singles final at Roland-Garros.
Eurosport has been broadcasting Roland-Garros since 1989 and will continue to do so on its linear channels in mainland Europe. Meanwhile, TNT Sports will be the exclusive broadcaster for the UK and Ireland. Starting in 2026, fans will also be able to catch live coverage of every court on the streaming platform HBO Max.
TNT Sports and Eurosport are committed to providing exclusive live coverage of every match at Roland-Garros, as well as engaging content both on and off the court. Their 360-degree tennis ecosystem offers a comprehensive approach to storytelling, ensuring fans are immersed in the action and connected to the players.
French Tennis Federation President Gilles Moretton expressed his delight in continuing the partnership with Warner Bros. Discovery, emphasizing the growing appeal of Roland-Garros in Europe. Andrew Georgiou, President & Managing Director of WBD Sports Europe, echoed this sentiment, expressing the company’s pride in broadcasting such a prestigious event.
In addition to extensive coverage in Europe, this year’s Roland-Garros will also be broadcast live on TNT Sports in the United States, reaching even more tennis fans around the world. Warner Bros. Discovery has seen record numbers in various countries during this year’s tournament, with significant audience growth in Italy, the UK, and beyond.
Overall, this extended agreement between Warner Bros. Discovery and the French Tennis Federation ensures that fans across Europe can continue to enjoy the excitement of Roland-Garros for years to come. With engaging coverage, exclusive content, and live streaming options, tennis enthusiasts can look forward to the thrill of this historic tournament.
