Nicole Clemens Appointed Head of International Originals at Amazon MGM Studios
Nicole Clemens is stepping into big shoes as the new Vice President and Head of International Originals at Prime Video and Amazon MGM Studios. Taking over from James Farrell, she’ll be in charge of developing and producing a slew of films and series in over 20 countries globally. Her role will span across Europe, Latin America, and Asia Pacific, with her new journey commencing on July 7th.
Nicole, currently based in LA, will soon be making the move to Prime Video’s London office, reporting directly to Kelly Day, the Vice President of Prime Video International. Her impressive resume includes roles at Paramount Television Studios, Paramount+, Anonymous Content, FX, ICM Partners, Rod Holcomb Productions, and Spelling Television.
This exciting transition comes at a time when Amazon’s leadership team is going through some changes, with Kelly Day taking on an expanded role following Jennifer Salke’s departure as the head of Amazon Studios in March. Additionally, Chris Bird left as the Director of Prime Video UK earlier this year. In February, James Farrell left his position as the head of international originals at Amazon MGM Studios, and Laine Kline ended her time as head of international production at Amazon MGM Studios at the close of 2024.
In other news, Ollie Madden is set to leave Film4 to head a new UK film strategy at Netflix. This move marks an exciting shift in the entertainment industry as new talent takes on fresh challenges.
