MobLand Episode 10 Review: Analysis of Ending and Pacing

The final episode of MobLand season one packs a punch as the Harrigans face off against their rival, Richie Stevenson. The intricate plan that Harry and his crew execute keeps you on the edge of your seat, with suspenseful moments and clever editing that keeps you guessing until the very end.

While some of the big reveals might not have the impact they intended, like the identity of the mole, the resolution of the conflict between the Harrigans and Stevenson is satisfying to watch unfold. The season finale sets the stage for new family dynamics and internal power struggles that could lead to juicy drama in the next season.

However, the closing scenes leave something to be desired. The deteriorating relationship between Harry and his wife feels forced, and Conrad’s over-the-top bravado comes off as insecure rather than cool. Despite some odd choices in the final moments, “The Beast in Me” provides a suspenseful conclusion to the gang war.

Overall, MobLand episode 10 is an entertaining and engaging watch, even if it doesn’t set up the next season as successfully as it could have. If you’re a fan of mob dramas, this one is worth checking out on Paramount+.
