And the local flavor continues as Hulu serves up Adam Sandler’s “Grownups” movies and the Sandra Bullock comedy “The Heat,” while Netflix brings us Denzel Washington in “The Equalizer,” and Prime Video dusts off the 1968 version of “The Thomas Crown Affair” starring Steve McQueen and Faye Dunaway, both classics filmed in Boston in the late ’60s and early ’70s.
Among the returning TV shows, Netflix’s Korean sensation “Squid Game” comes back on June 27, Hulu’s “The Bear” gets cooking on June 25, and HBO’s “The Gilded Age” starts its new season on June 22.
