Gen V Season 2 Enrollment Begins in September
Are you ready for more Gen V this fall? Prime Video has revealed a sneak peek at Season 2 of the show at CCXP Mexico, and things are looking intense. Set after The Boys’ fourth season during Homelander’s reign over the United States, the students at Godolkin University are facing a tough challenge. Marie (played by Jaz Sinclair) and her friends are out of rehab and back at school, where they’re being prepped by the new dean Cipher (Hamish Linklater) for a possible Supes/Human war.
While the Supe kids are gearing up for battle and enjoying the party scene, Marie and her crew are divided. Some want to make a run for it, while others want to take down the system from within. But their plans get sidetracked when they stumble upon a hidden program from the school’s past that might be connected to Marie.
Now, here’s some sad news: Chance Perdromo, who played Andre on the show, passed away in a motorcycle accident shortly before filming began for Season 2. The Gen V team decided not to recast his character and instead rewrote the season to honor his memory. Andre’s father, Polarity (played by Sean Patrick Thomas), will be dealing with the loss and later investigating what happened to his son.
Season 2 of Gen V, starring Derek Luh, Lizzie Broadway, London Thor, and Asa Germann, kicks off on September 17 with a three-episode premiere, followed by weekly episodes through October 22. Get ready for more action, drama, and mystery this season!
