“King of the Hill Revival: First Clip Released”

So, you know how animated characters never seem to get any older? Think about Bart Simpson still in fourth grade after all these years. Well, the folks over at “King of the Hill” are shaking things up a bit. In the new TV revival for Hulu, Hank and Peggy Hill are now looking at retirement, and Bobby Hill is no longer the little guy we remember – he’s all grown up in his 20s. It’s a whole new vibe for the beloved show.

“King of the Hill” first hit the airwaves back in 1997 and ran for 13 seasons with over 250 episodes. While it may not have reached the same level of fame as “The Simpsons,” it certainly made its mark. Mike Judge and Greg Daniels, the creators, are back on board for the revival, along with Saladin Patterson as the showrunner.

Announced in 2023, the new season is skipping traditional TV and going straight to streaming on Hulu. The recently released opening credits give us a quick glimpse of what the Hills have been up to since we last saw them. They’ve been living their best lives and are now ready to reconnect with old friends in Arlen, Texas. Meanwhile, Bobby is off chasing his dream as a chef in Dallas, hanging out with familiar faces from his past.

Excited to dive back into the world of “King of the Hill”? The new season drops on August 4th, only on Hulu. It’s time to catch up with the Hills and see where life has taken them. And who knows, maybe we’ll get more than a few chuckles along the way.
