On a brighter note, Max, which will once again be rebranded as HBO Max starting this summer, has renewed several shows for the upcoming season. Exciting news for fans of “Hacks,” “The Pitt,” “Conan O’Brien Must Go,” “Creature Commandos,” “Dune: Prophecy,” “On the Roam,” and “Peacemaker” as they will all be returning with new episodes. However, the fate of “Harley Quinn” is still up in the air.

In addition to Max originals, there are plenty of HBO shows returning as well. Fans can look forward to new seasons of “The Last of Us,” “Euphoria,” “Industry,” “Last Week Tonight With John Oliver,” “Real Time With Bill Maher,” “The White Lotus,” and “True Detective.” Exciting news for “House of the Dragon” fans as well, with two more seasons on the horizon, but unfortunately, season 4 will be the end of the “Game of Thrones” prequel.

On the other side of things, HBO’s “We’re Here” has been canceled, as well as the upcoming eighth season of “The Neighborhood.” “The Righteous Gemstones” also wrapped up its run after the third season.

Coming up soon, Max’s “And Just Like That” will be back for season 3 on Thursday, May 29, while HBO’s “Gilded Age” will return for season 3 on June 22. No renewals yet for season 4 of either show, but we’ll be keeping an eye out for updates.

Fans of Nathan Fielder’s docu-comedy “The Rehearsal” will have to wait a bit longer for news on a renewal, as season 2 just concluded on Sunday, May 25. So, stay tuned for more updates!
