Paramount+ Spy Drama “The Agency” Begins Production on Season 2

Production has officially kicked off in London for the second season of Paramount+’s spy thriller, The Agency: Central Intelligence. The show, inspired by France’s The Bureau, follows CIA agent Martian, played by Michael Fassbender, as he navigates life undercover.

In the first season, Martian returns to London and must keep his relationship with Sudanese asset Dr. Samia Fatima (Jodie Turner-Smith) a secret, putting them both in danger. Now, in the upcoming season, Samia is being held captive in Sudan, and Martian is determined to save her at any cost—even if it means betraying his team.

The new season will feature a talented cast, including Jeffrey Wright, Katherine Waterston, Harriet Sansom Harris, John Magaro, Saura Lightfoot-Leon, Andrew Brooke, India Fowler, Reza Brojerdi, Alex Reznik, and Richard Gere. Jez and John-Henry Butterworth will return as writers and executive producers for the second season.
