CoComelon shift from Netflix to Disney+: Films recently removed
Popular animated series CoComelon is making a move from Netflix to Disney+! Fans of this beloved cartoon can catch it on its new streaming platform starting in January 2027. According to sources at Netflix, the decision not to renew the license for CoComelon was due to a decrease in viewership.
While CoComelon finds a new home on Disney+, Netflix will still be home to its spinoff CoComelon Lane and Moonbug’s Blippi. In addition to CoComelon, several other films have recently departed from Netflix. For example, the Billie Piper drama “Secret Diary of a Call Girl,” which joined Netflix in mid-June 2024, will no longer be available after May 29. This series, starring Piper as Hannah Baxter, explores the world of the sex industry and features talented actors like Lily James and Gemma Chan.
Other films like “The Addams Family,” “The Nice Guys,” “The Godfather,” and “Jurassic Park” have also left Netflix. “The Addams Family,” directed by Barry Sonnenfeld, can now be streamed on Prime Video. Similarly, the neo-noir buddy action comedy “The Nice Guys,” starring Ryan Gosling, can be found on ITVX. “The Godfather,” directed by Francis Ford Coppola, is now available on Amazon Prime Video and JioHotstar, while “Jurassic Park,” directed by Steven Spielberg, can be watched on Prime Video.
So, if you’re a fan of these films and series, be sure to catch them on their new streaming platforms. And for more updates and real-time stock market news, don’t forget to visit CNBC-TV18 and stay tuned for the latest entertainment news!
