2025 American Music Awards: How to Watch and What to Know
The 2025 American Music Awards are happening today and we’ve got all the details you need to know. After being on a break for two years, the AMAs are back and will be live from the Fontainebleau Las Vegas resort on Memorial Day. It’s going to be a night full of celebrating the best music from last year, with some of the industry’s top stars vying for awards at the biggest fan-voted show around.
Wondering when the American Music Awards start? Well, you can catch all the action live on Monday, May 26th, at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m. PT. If you’re looking to watch on TV, you can tune in to CBS television stations. And if you prefer streaming, you can catch the show live on Paramount+ with Showtime. Just a heads up, Paramount+ Essential subscribers won’t be able to stream it live, but you’ll be able to watch it on demand starting Tuesday.
This year, Kendrick Lamar leads the pack with 10 nominations, including nods for artist of the year and album of the year. Post Malone isn’t far behind with eight nominations, while Billie Eilish, Chappell Roan, and Shaboozey each have seven. As for the hosts, Jennifer Lopez is back for her second time hosting the American Music Awards. Her first go at hosting was back in 2015. And when it comes to performers, get ready to see some incredible acts, including Lopez herself, as well as ICON Award recipient Janet Jackson, Rod Stewart, Benson Boone, Gloria Estefan, Reneé Rapp, Blake Shelton, Gwen Stefani, and Lainey Wilson.
