Filming for Season 4 of ‘Ted Lasso’ to Begin This Summer
Hey there, fans of ‘Ted Lasso’! The good news is that filming for the fourth season is all set to kick off this summer. According to co-star Hannah Waddingham, Jason Sudeikis and the whole cast will be back in action very soon on Apple TV+.
Rumors about a return for the series have been circulating for a while now, ever since the original series wrapped up back in 2022. But it’s official now! Waddingham mentioned in a Deadline report that the writing team is back together and ready to roll. She even described them as “Jedi Knights” and praised the diversity and talent of the team.
Back in August of 2024, we got a hint of a return when Warner Brothers extended the contracts for some of the cast members. And ever since then, there have been whispers that filming would start sometime in 2025. But it wasn’t until Jason Sudeikis confirmed his involvement in March 2025 during an interview on the New Heights podcast that things really started heating up.
Sudeikis spilled the beans, revealing that the new season would revolve around Lasso coaching a women’s soccer team, a storyline that was subtly hinted at in the original series finale. Apple made it official shortly after, announcing the much-anticipated fourth season.
Fear not, fans! Other fan-favorite stars like Brett Goldstein, Juno Temple, and Jeremy Swift will also be making a comeback in Season 4. A debut date hasn’t been set yet, but we can expect the show to potentially return sometime in late 2025 or early 2026. Stay tuned for more updates!
It’s time to break out the cheering gear and get ready for another exciting season of ‘Ted Lasso’!
