Nicola Walker and Jermaine Clement to Star in Disney+ British Comedy Series
to share that Nicola Walker and Jemaine Clement are set to star in a new original series on Disney+ called “Alice and Steve.” The show, produced by award-winning Clerkenwell Films, tells the story of lifelong friends whose world is turned upside down when Steve, played by Clement, starts dating Alice’s 26-year-old daughter, Izzy.
Walker, known for her work in “The Split,” plays Alice, while Clement, from “What We Do in the Shadows,” portrays Steve. The dynamic between these two characters, who are no strangers to chaos and questionable decisions, is put to the test as their friendship faces unexpected challenges.
Joining the cast are Joel Fry, Tyrese Eaton-Dyce, Marcia Warren, Eilidh Fisher, and Ebony Aboagye. The series is being directed by Tom Kingsley and written by Sophie Goodhart. Filming has already begun in London, and fans can look forward to a six-part series that promises to be both entertaining and heartfelt.
