The Bombing of Pan Am 103 is a six-part factual drama based on the real events surrounding the Lockerbie disaster and the international investigation to find those responsible for the attack and bring them to justice.
On 21 December 1988, a bomb detonates on board the transatlantic flight Pan Am 103 above Lockerbie, Scotland.
The attack kills 270 people and shocks the world. As a result, the Scottish police and FBI must join forces to find the perpetrators.

The presenter and adventurer explores the hidden gems of the countries of Scandinavia, marvelling at the Arctic landscapes and spectacular scenery along the way.
The first leg of his journey takes him from the archipelago that marks the northernmost outpost of Norway, Svalbard, to the snowy region of Lapland.
He’ll be travelling along Nato’s longest border with Russia where tensions are high and Santa’s village is prepared for a potential war.

Later . . . with Jools Holland, 10.00pm, BBC Two
Back for the 66th run of his eclectic music show, Jools (below) returns to Alexandra Palace Theatre in north London.

The opening edition features a performance by rock band Skunk Anansie, whose singer Skin joins the piano-playing host for a chat.
Also appearing are Oscar-nominated Wicked star Cynthia Erivo, Irish singer-songwriter CMAT, south London-based musician Heartworms and American folk singer Sam Amidon.
RHS Chelsea Flower Show, 6.00pm, BBC One
