ESPN and Disney+ collaborating on new female-led sports show ‘Vibe Check’

Good news for sports fans! At the Disney Upfront event on May 13, ESPN and Disney+ shared an exciting plan to launch a brand-new show called “Vibe Check.” Set to debut exclusively on Disney+ in late June, this female-led, sports-focused studio show sounds like it’s going to be a hit.

“Vibe Check” will stream new episodes three times a week, packed with coverage of every sport, expert analysis, all-access moments, and opinions. The show will feature ESPN’s top female voices, bringing their expertise, insight, and storytelling together to offer a fresh, perspective-driven approach to sports coverage, says Disney+. They’re also planning to create engaging content for digital and social media platforms in addition to Disney+.

According to Burke Magnus, president of content at ESPN, this is an exciting opportunity to showcase the talented women at ESPN in a whole new light. He believes that these voices have always played a crucial role in shaping the sports landscape, and now they’re getting a chance to share their unique insights in an even more impactful way with Disney+ subscribers.
