Spider-Noir: Nicolas Cage Stars in New Series on Prime Video – Preview
as, Cameron Britton, Cary Christopher, Michael Kostroff, Scott MacArthur, Joe Massingill, Whitney Rice, Amanda Schull, Andrew Lewis Caldwell, Amy Aquino, and Andrew Robinson are set for recurring roles.
In Spider-Noir, Nicolas Cage plays an aging 1930s New York private investigator who used to be the city’s superhero. Lamorne Morris portrays Robbie Robertson, a dedicated journalist pushing against the odds as a black professional in 1930s New York. Brendan Gleeson takes on the role of the series’ villain, while Li Jun Li plays a nightclub singer in New York. Abraham Popoola plays a World War I veteran looking for a fresh start. Unfortunately, specific details about additional characters are still under wraps.
The series is co-developed by Oren Uziel & Steve Lightfoot, who also serve as co-showrunners and executive producers. Phil Lord, Christopher Miller, and Amy Pascal are co-developers and executive producers as well, with Harry Bradbeer set to executive produce and direct the first two episodes. Spider-Noir will premiere on MGM+’s linear channel in the US, followed by a global launch on Prime Video.
