Prime Video Reveals Documentaries on New York Jets and Terrell Owens
Amazon announced two new football documentaries coming to Prime Video, and they sound pretty exciting. Partnering with Skydance Sports and NFL Films, Prime Video will showcase the New York Jets and the legendary wide receiver Terrell Owens in separate projects.
For Jets fans, there’s a new six-part docuseries titled The Home Team: NY Jets. This series goes behind the scenes with six players and their partners throughout the 2024-25 NFL regular season, offering a close look at their personal and professional lives. Some familiar faces like Quinnen, Miranda Williams, and Alijah and Jessie Vera-Tucker will be featured, while the other couples remain a mystery for now.
On the other hand, the Terrell Owens documentary will delve into Owens’ journey from rising star to NFL legend, examining his reputation as the ultimate “prima donna” wide receiver of his time. The film also catches up with Owens today as he works on creating a new identity beyond football.
Both documentaries are being created by the same team behind the Kelce project, so you know they’re in good hands. Keep an eye out for these documentaries on Prime Video—they’re bound to be a touchdown!
