Nicolas Cage Thriller ‘The Surfer’ Streaming Release Date

The highly anticipated psychological thriller “The Surfer,” starring Nicolas Cage, is set to make its digital streaming debut soon.

This Rated R film initially premiered in theaters on May 2 in limited release. The story follows a man, played by Cage as “The Surfer,” who returns to the serene beach of his childhood with his son hoping to surf. However, his plans are disrupted by a group of locals with a strict stance: “Don’t live here, don’t surf here.”

Directed by Lorcan Finnegan, the film delves into the man’s escalating conflict fueled by humiliation and anger, against the backdrop of a scorching summer that pushes him to his limits.

Aside from Cage, the movie features Finn Little as his son and Julian McMahon as the main antagonist, Scally.
