2025 NBC Fall TV Shows Schedule: Complete Guide

NBC is making big changes to its primetime lineup with the addition of NBA games thanks to a new 11-year deal. This means we’ll see NBA action on NBC and Peacock starting this fall, along with exclusive WNBA games in 2026. As a result, the network made some tough calls and canceled five scripted series ahead of its Upfronts presentation last May. Shows like Lopez vs. Lopez, Night Court, Found, The Irrational, and Suits LA all got the ax. But don’t worry, there are still plenty of favorites returning for the 2025-2026 season!

Fans can look forward to the return of all three One Chicago dramas: Chicago Med, Chicago P.D., and Chicago Fire. Plus, Law & Order is coming back for a 25th season and Law & Order: SVU for a 27th season. These series are sticking to their usual time slots on Wednesdays and Thursdays.

And that’s not all! The procedural The Hunting Party will be back for Season 2, alongside the medical drama Brilliant Minds and the mockumentary St. Denis Medical and sitcom Happy’s Place. Plus, there’s a new unscripted series called On Brand With Jimmy Fallon lined up for Tuesdays and Fridays starting in September.

A big highlight from the NBC Upfronts presentation is the addition of NBA legend Michael Jordan as a “special contributor” to the network’s NBA coverage. It’s an exciting move that’s sure to bring some added star power to NBC’s basketball programming this fall.
