Filming Locations of Netflix’s ‘The Four Seasons’ Explained
If you’ve been loving the picturesque locations in The Four Seasons on Netflix, you’ll be excited to know that you can actually visit these charming spots in real life. From the scenic Hudson Valley to the sandy beaches of Puerto Rico, the show takes viewers on a seasonal journey filled with laughs and breathtaking landscapes.
During a chat with location manager Matt Lamb, PEOPLE got the inside scoop on where the series was filmed. With the exception of the summer getaway in Puerto Rico, the fall, winter, and spring vacations were all shot in Upstate New York.
According to Lamb, filming in the Hudson Valley was a truly magical experience. The stunning mountains, charming small towns, and cool hangouts seen in the show are real places that fans can visit and explore. From the picturesque Main Street in Cold Spring to The Vinyl Room in Beacon, there are plenty of spots to discover.
In Cold Spring, viewers can wander along Main Street and visit the Cold Spring General Store, which was featured as the Apothecary in the show. Nature lovers can also take a scenic hike along the Washburn Trail for stunning views of the Hudson River.
Beacon, N.Y., was transformed into a vibrant college town for the fall trip, where The Vinyl Room served as the backdrop for some heartfelt moments between the characters. Fans can grab a drink, browse through vintage records, and enjoy the fall foliage just like the friends did in the show.
For the winter episodes, the group heads to Mount Peter in Warwick, N.Y., for some snowy adventures. This family-operated ski area offers breathtaking views of Warwick Valley and is perfect for skiing and snowboarding enthusiasts of all levels.
And let’s not forget the luxurious getaway in Puerto Rico, where Danny and Claude escape to a posh hotel for a break from camping. With stunning oceanfront views, private island access, and a water park, the El Conquistador Resort is a dreamy vacation spot.
So, if you’re looking to recreate the seasonal getaways from The Four Seasons, pack your bags and start exploring these real-life locations. All episodes of the show are now streaming on Netflix for more travel inspiration.
