Studio Season 2 Renewal: EP’s Favorite Moments Revealed
If you’ve been tuning in to the Apple TV+ series The Studio, you’re in for a treat—Season 2 is officially happening! The Hollywood-filled comedy led by Seth Rogen will continue to entertain viewers with more of Matt Remick’s antics at Continental Studios. I recently chatted with Frida Perez, one of the executive producers of the show, and she shared with me her favorite line for Kathryn Hahn’s character, Maya Mason.
Perez explained that coming up with Maya’s Gen Z-like dialogue was a blast for the writers. They drew inspiration from slang they found online, including the hilarious phrase “Marty Scorses on God.” This line, in particular, stood out in the premiere episode when Matt Remick was trying to recruit Martin Scorsese for a wild movie venture. Although Scorsese’s involvement may be a stretch, fans can look forward to more awkward encounters in Season 2.
In response to the renewal news, creators Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg expressed their excitement to continue the journey with The Studio’s second season. The show received positive feedback right from the start, with Apple TV+ programming head Matt Cherniss praising the team for delivering a brilliant show. The ensemble cast, including Catherine O’Hara, Ike Barinholtz, and Chase Sui Wonders, is expected to return for the upcoming season, so make sure you stay tuned for more updates on The Studio.
