Sisters Restaurant to Open in Former Cowbell Space in Downtown Lewiston

Casey and Ali Peacock are making their mark in downtown Lewiston. They’ve signed a lease to take over the former Cowbell Grill & Tap space on 49 Lisbon St. Their new venture, The Blue Feather Kitchen and Bar, is set to open its doors in early summer.

Casey Peacock managed Side By Each Brewing before its closure, and her sister Ali worked there, too. So, they’re not new faces to those who frequented the old brewery. The sisters have decades of experience in the hospitality industry, and they’re thrilled about opening their own spot, The Blue Feather.

Describing their vision, Casey Peacock says The Blue Feather will be Maine casual with a slight touch of upscale. They’re aiming for top-notch service with great food and drinks, all in a warm, friendly setting that welcomes everyone. Their goal? To make it affordable.

While the menu is still a work in progress, The Blue Feather plans to offer brunch on Sundays, with shorter hours on those days. Their regular hours during the week will likely be from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. from Tuesday to Saturday. The Peacock sisters have already spruced up the place with new floors and fresh paint in the main dining area.

Currently, they’re in the process of obtaining city and state licenses to serve a full bar. If all goes smoothly, they’re aiming to open by early summer. So, watch out for The Blue Feather Kitchen and Bar – a new spot to enjoy a delightful meal in the heart of downtown Lewiston.
