Will Sharpe & Ayo Edebiri star in Apple TV+ series ‘Prodigies’ about former child stars
Two rising stars in the entertainment industry, Will Sharpe and Ayo Edebiri, are teaming up for a romantic comedy series on Apple TV+ called “Prodigies.” In this show, they play Didi and Ren, two former child prodigies who have been close since childhood and are now questioning whether their ordinary lives are living up to their extraordinary pasts. As they navigate their relationship, they explore these themes in a touching and relatable way.
“Prodigies” is created and written by Will Sharpe, who also stars in the series. Ayo Edebiri, known for her role in “The Bear,” serves as an executive producer alongside Sharpe, Jane Featherstone, Naomi de Pear, and Katie Carpenter for Sister, the production company behind the show. Both Sharpe and Edebiri have been busy with other projects as well, with Sharpe working on a Sky series where he plays Mozart, and Edebiri set to appear in James L. Brooks’ “Ella McCay” and Luca Guadagnino’s “After the Hunt.”
