‘Severance’ Creator Announces Next Season to be Released as TV Recaps Only on…
Los Angeles – The creator of “Severance,” Dan Erickson, announced on Monday that the next season of the show will be releasing solely as episode recaps on Vulture.com. Erickson mentioned that this new format will allow him to unfold the mystery of Lumon Industries and its severed employees as he had always intended.
“After some discussion in the writers’ room, we decided that 500-word write-ups in New York magazine’s pop culture section were the best way to continue the story,” Erickson shared. He expressed confidence in the quality of work produced by Vulture’s freelancers and emphasized that readers will still get their weekly dose of “Severance” through these recaps.
Starting from now, fans will need to visit Vulture every Friday to stay updated on the happenings in season three. According to Erickson, the recaps will cover all the essential elements of the show without the visual aspects, such as cinematography, music, and directing.
While parting ways with Apple TV+ was difficult, Erickson mentioned that Vulture’s offer was simply more enticing. Stay tuned to Vulture for the upcoming season of “Severance” through these detailed recaps.
