Orioles and Nationals Launch MASN+ Direct-to-Consumer Streaming Service

Fans of the Orioles and Nationals, rejoice! The MASN regional sports network now offers a direct-to-consumer streaming option called MASN+. For just $19.99 per month or $89.99 for the rest of the 2025 season, subscribers can enjoy 24/7 MASN and MASN2 content, including all available Orioles and Nationals games.

You can access MASN+ on MASNsports.com, as well as on iOS and Android mobile devices, Apple TV, Amazon Fire TV, and Roku. Orioles President of Business Operations, Catie Griggs, expressed excitement about this new offering, explaining that they’ve been diligently working on it for the past 4-6 weeks to ensure a smooth launch.

The lower price point for this season is because the MASN team wanted to perfect the technology before releasing it to fans. Griggs mentioned that they didn’t want to charge fans for content they couldn’t access, which is why they delayed the launch slightly.

Prior to the start of the season, the Orioles and Nationals resolved their long-standing MASN dispute. The Nationals have signed a one-year deal with MASN for 2025, with the option to explore other options for 2026 and beyond. Griggs emphasized that there’s no annual pass for MASN+ because they understand the uncertainty about future seasons and don’t want fans to feel locked into a product that may change in value.

It’s worth noting that the Astros are currently the only MLB team without a direct-to-consumer product in their market without blackout restrictions. However, Houston’s legacy carriage agreement will be addressed in due time.
