Based on Martha Wells’ The Murderbot Diaries, this show is about to bring a whole new level of cross-comedy goodness to Apple TV+.
Mark your calendars for May 16, 2025, when the first two episodes of Murderbot will premiere. After that, you can expect new episodes to drop weekly until July 11. And if you’re not already a subscriber, Apple TV+ is offering a killer deal at $2.99 for a limited time.
In a nutshell, Murderbot is an action-packed sci-fi series that follows a self-hacking security android who struggles with human emotions but is compelled to protect its vulnerable “clients.” As much as Murderbot craves solitude to watch futuristic soap operas and ponder its place in the universe, it must hide its free will and complete dangerous missions.
The stellar cast includes Sabrina Wu, Tattiawna Jones, Tamara Podemski, and Akshay Khanna. And let’s not forget about David Dastmalchian, who will be taking on the role of Gurathin, an adorable, augmented human.
