Main Cast Revealed for Reimagined Disney+ Series ‘Holes’: Most Campers are Female
Exciting news for fans of the book “Holes” – Disney has just announced the main cast for the upcoming Disney+ series based on Louis Sachar’s novel. If you loved the 2003 movie adaptation with Shia LaBeouf and crew, get ready for a fresh twist on the story.
In the reimagined “Holes,” Greg Kinnear will take on the role of The Warden, with Aidy Bryant as Sissy, and Shay Rudolph as Hayley. Joining them are Flor Delis Alicea, Anire Kim Amoda, Noah Cottrell, Iesha Daniels, Sophie Dieterlen, Alexandra Doke, and Maeve Press.
What’s different this time around? Well, get ready for a gender-bent version of the campers. In this new take, the protagonist Stanley has been transformed into Hayley, and she’ll be surrounded by a camp filled with mostly female characters. You’ll meet characters like Queenie, Thumbelina, Mars, Sticky, Eyeball, and Shrimp, each with their own unique personalities.
The show, created by Alina Mankin and produced by Walden Media, is sure to bring a fresh perspective to this beloved tale. Unfortunately, there’s no release date yet, so we’ll have to keep our eyes peeled for more updates on when we can start streaming “Holes” on Disney+.
