Watch 2025 Guardians Season Online: Streaming Option Available
Exciting news for Guardians fans – you’ll have a chance to catch all the action of the 2025 season! The Guardians, in collaboration with Major League Baseball, just announced that they will be offering a direct-to-consumer streaming option for the upcoming season. This means you can now watch your favorite baseball team on smart TVs, cellphones, laptops, and tablets without any pesky local blackouts. The cost is $99.99 for the whole season or $19.99 per month. To sign up, simply visit CLEGuardians.TV and start streaming starting Tuesday.
While the details about where the games will be broadcast on cable TV are still being negotiated by MLB with different networks, there’s more good news – the Guardians games will now reach 235% more households through TV and streaming compared to last year!
The veteran TV broadcast team of Matt Underwood, Rick Manning, and Andre Knott will be back to bring you all the game highlights, with some exciting changes to the pre and postgame programming this season. Look forward to a 30-minute pregame show and a 15-minute postgame show for all home games. While there won’t be a pregame show for away games, you can still catch a 15-minute postgame show.
And let’s not forget the exciting lineup of hosts and guests for the pre and postgame shows! Al Palowski will be back as the main host, joined by former Indians catcher Chris Gimenez, along with former Cleveland players Cody Allen, Ben Broussard, Nick Goody, Austin Jackson, and Jason Kipnis. Plus, Cayleigh Griffin, the pre and postgame host for Cavaliers games, will also make an appearance.
After a successful 2024 season that saw the Guardians clinch the American League Central title and advance to the ALCS, the team faced a challenge when their broadcast deal was canceled. But fear not – the Guardians signed on with MLB in October, and now we finally have the details on how the games will be streamed and televised.
MLB will also be taking care of the production and distribution of the Padres, Rockies, Diamondbacks, and Twins broadcasts this season. Get ready for an enhanced viewing experience with new technology, including a Wire Cam at Progressive Field, live look-ins to the MLB Replay Operations Center, and a new right field camera with a shallow depth-of-field look.
So mark your calendars for Feb. 22 when the Guardians open the Cactus League season against the Reds, and get ready to cheer them on as the regular season kicks off on March 27 in Kansas City. It’s going to be an exciting season for Guardians fans!
